Northern California Networking

The NorCal Chapter hosts a monthly gathering of artists who meet to show their work and discuss business trends and issues. Their February get-together was held at the bar of a local Hyatt.

Boston Chapter: Developing a Graphic Novel

The Boston Chapter recently organized a half-day event, Developing a Graphic Novel. The event included a presentation by illustrator Gareth Hinds on creating a graphic novel; a panel discussion by local illustrators, and a portfolio review. The event was attended by over 100 illustrators.

New York Chapter Holiday Party

The New York Chapter Holiday Party and Portfolio Review brought together a lot of old and new friends. Attendees were able to showcase their portfolios, participate in a drawing for art books, museum admissions and other prizes, and created holiday ornaments for a local hospital.

Copyright Alliance EXPO

The Copyright Alliance's Third Annual EXPO took place on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. This event showcases new products and the economic benefits of America’s copyright industries. Members of the Graphic Artists Guild attended.
